Tropical Kale Smoothie



I'm on a mission of pushing myself and allowing uncomfortable situations to enter my life because I know that this is the only way to achieve my goals.

I sit and think and I type this as I'm eating chocolate at 11:30 pm while listening to a podcast about Missing 411. Never heard of it? Google it.

I'm thinking about some very eye-opening words I've heard on some other podcast. The lesson goes like this:

Try stuff. Even if you're afraid. Your soul would be the size of a pea if you never tried anything. Just take three breaths and DIVE INTO THE UNKNOWN. Just be on the dark side. Trust your instinct. Do you want to go to sleep or do you want to run?
Analyze stuff, how did you learn to be afraid? This culture labeled dark as something bad. That's not helpful.
Life is not a train ride, meaning that you just have to pick the right train in your life, ride straight to the finish point and then get off.  Life is a sailboat ride. The weather the wind and the currents change. Sometimes you have other people on the boat who can help you out. Sometimes the waves are rocky, some days there are storms and you HAVE TO BE PATIENT.

So...... TRY STUFF.


Recipe from: This gal cooks

THE RECIPE

Ingredients

1 ¼ cup unsweetened almond milk
¼ cup plain whole milk yogurt
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ cup frozen mango
½ cup frozen pineapple
2 heaping cups of kale

Instructions

Place all of the ingredients in a blender in the order listed. 
Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and enjoy.
