Homemade Almond Butter / Domace mandljevo maslo

Making homemade almond butter is the easiest thing in the world .... IF you have a good food processor. My food processor was really mini and was not intended to be used for a long time. That is why I avoided making raw recipes. As soon as I tried a recipe that requires a lot of cutting, my poor food processor coughed and died. Bon voyage little guy! Truffle and I bought a new food processor and I can not wait for it to arrive, because I will go mental with raw recipes! =) But  seriously, homemade almond butter is very easy to prepare, you just need a food processor,  which is intended to be used for a longer period and not just a few seconds.

Almond butter can be used as a spread on a bread, in your morning granola, oatmeal, shake, as a spread on apple or other fruit slices, pancakes, in yogurt, on waffles in various recipes ...

Izdelava domačega mandljevega masla je nekaj najlažjega na svetu…. ČE imaš dober multipraktik. Moj multipraktik je bil bolj mini in ni bil namenjen temu, da se ga uporablja dalj časa. Ravno zaradi tega sem se izogibala presnih receptov. Takoj, ko sem se lotila recepta, ki zahteva veliko rezanja, je moj ubogi multipraktik zakašljal in crknil.  Bon voyage little guy! S Tartufijem sva kupila novega in komaj čakam, da prispe, ker se mi bo čisto utrgalo glede receptov! =) Drugače pa resno, domače mandljevo maslo je zelo preprosto pripraviti, le tak multipraktik morate imeti, ki je namenjen temu, da lahko reže tudi po 20 min in ne samo par sekund.

Mandljevo maslo se lahko uporabi kot namaz na kruhu, v jutranji granoli, kaši, smutiju, kot namaz na jabolčnih ali drugih sadnih rezinah, palačinkah, v jogurtih, na vafljih, v raznih receptih…

Ingredients

Almonds

The process

Add the almonds to a food processor and grind for 15 minutes, stopping regularly to scrape down the sides. After 15 minutes the almonds will turn smooth and creamy. Keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Postopek

Mandlje stresite v multipraktik. Meljite, odprite multipraktik in iz sten postrgajte mlete mandlje….to stalno ponavljajte. Trajalo bo kar nekaj časa preden bodo mandlji spustili olje. Postopek lahko traja tudi 15 minut, odvisno od kvalitete multipraktika. Hranite ga v hladilniku v posodi s pokrovom.

No Flour Oatmeal Cookies / Ovseni piskoti brez moke

One of my New Year's resolutions was exercise. Quite a cliché. So far, this plan is still working for me. I once read somewhere that the brain can be reprogrammed in two months-as far as habits goes. If you're doing something for two months, then it becomes your habit and is difficult to stop doing it. Great! This information made me really happy. It gave me a lot of hope. Of course, this also means that if you're not active for two months, you get used to it.

For the third month I insist on exercise and this has become my habit! I exercise at home, through workout videos on YouTube. Thank God that days are getting longer and warm, because I can not wait to start combining exercising at home with running in the nature. But first I have to take my running watch to a battery replacement place.

Because of  this reason, I would like to have some snacks and sweet things that are more healthy, at home all the time. I will still use traditional recipes, because I always ate everything and this won’t change now. But I will also post recipes that aren’t so classic. I started with oat cookies without flour. They were great for before and after exercise. These are quite soft.

Ena od mojih novoletnih zaobljub je bila telovadba. Precej klišejsko. Zaenkrat se tega načrta še vedno držim. Enkrat sem nekje prebrala, da je možgane možno reprogramirati v dveh mesecih-kar se tiče navad. Če nekaj počneš dva meseca, potem to postane tvoja navada in se težko pripraviš do tega, da bi s tem prenehal. Super! Tega podatka sem bila resnično vesela. Dalo mi je veliko upanja. Seveda to pomeni tudi to, da če dva meseca nisi aktiven, se navadiš na to.

Že tretji mesec vztrajam pri telovadbi in to je postalo moja navada! Telovadim doma, preko telovadnih videov na YouTubu. Hvalabogu, da se dan daljša in topli, ker komaj čakam, da začnem telovadbo doma kombinirati s tekom v naravi. Ampak najprej moram odnesti tekaško uro na zamenjavo baterije.

Zaradi tega bi doma rada imela kakšne prigrizke in tiste, ta sladke stvari, ki so bolj zdrave. Za trenutek, ko mi paše nekaj sladkega. Še vedno bom pripravljala tudi klasične recepte, ker sem vedno jedla vse in tudi sedaj je tako. Bom pa večkrat objavila kaj, kar ni tako klasično. Začela sem z ovsenimi piškoti brez moke. Bili so super za pred in po telovadbi. So pa precej mehki.

Ingredients

1 cup of very ripe bananas, mashed well
2⅓ cup quick oats or regular oats blent up halfway in a blender
1 cup natural chunky peanut butter
½ cup mini chocolate chips
⅓ cup raisins
¼ cup raw honey, melted (agave or maple syrup)
¾ teaspoon salt

The process

1. Preheat your oven to 325 degrees
2. Take out two mixing bowls
3. In one bowl mix together the bananas, honey and peanut butter
4. In another bowl mix together the oats, raisins, chocolate chips and salt
5. Mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients
6. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
7. Scoop out about 2-3 tablespoons worth of mix and place it on the parchment paper
8. Take a fork and press down the mix to form a flattened cookie (the cookies are not going to spread or rise, so however you form them is how they are going to be)
9. Put the cookies in the oven for 13-15 minutes, but no more than that
10. Transfer the cookies to a cooling rack
11. The more you let them cool the firmer they will get

Sestavine

300 g zelo zrelih banan, zmečkanih v pire (pribl. 4 banane)
210 g ovsenih kosmičev
250 g arašidovega  masla
100 g čokoladnih kapljic
75 g rozin
75 g agavinega sirupa (ali medu, javorjevega sirupa,..)
¾ žličke soli

Postopek

1. Pečico segrejte na 160 stopinj.
2. Vzemite dve mešalni skledi.
3. V eni skledi zmešajte banane, agavin sirup  in arašidovo maslo.
4. V drugi skledi zmešajte ovsene kosmiče, rozine, čokoladne kapljice in sol.
5. Mokre sestavine vmešajte  v suhe sestavine.
6. Na pekač položite peki papir.
7. Z žlico zajemite maso in spustite na pekač.
8. Malo potlačite z žlico ali prsti, in oblikujte v krog. Piškoti se ne bodo razlezli, zato naredite tako velike, kot jih želite imeti na koncu.
9. Piškote pecite 13-15 min (ne več kot toliko časa).
10. Pustite, da se piškoti ohladijo.
11. Dalj časa, kot jih boste pustili ohlajati, bolj čvrsti bodo.

No Bake Nutella Cheesecakes / Cizkejks v kozarcu

I must say, that I feel very good. I'm full of ideas, laughter, peace, fire, passions and interests. Something inside of me clicked and I am very focused. I exercise, cook, I write my master thesis, I read good books, I have the kind of conversations that I want to have, I write lists, I create, dream, plan, I listen to the sweet melody, I appreciate nature, I light candles, I drink tea ... I feel at peace.

In accordance with all this new found peace I really didn't want to complicate for Valentine's Day. I like to prepare something sweet for Valentine's Day. Last year I made chocolate soufflé. This year I chose a simple way. My Truffles loves cheesecakes, Nutella and Oreo cookies are also okay. In 20 minutes jars were full of sweetness and dishes washed. This recipe was really easy ... and successful.

Moram reči, da se počutim zelo dobro. Polna sem idej, smeha, miru, zagona, strasti in interesov. V meni se je zgodil klik in vse vidim zelo jasno. Telovadim, kuham, pišem magistrsko, berem dobre knjige, z ljudmi imam takšne pogovore, ki jih želim imeti, pišem sezname, ustvarjam, sanjam, načrtujem, poslušam sladke melodije, cenim naravo, prižigam svečke, pijem čaj,… V meni je mir.

V skladu s svežim mirom si res nisem želela komplicirati za Valentinovo. Za Valentinovo rada pripravim nekaj sladkega. Lani je bil to čokoladni sufle. Letos sem ubrala preprosto pot. Moj Tartufi ima rad cheesecakes, Nutello in tudi Oreo piškoti so mu okej. V 20ih minutah so bili kozarci polni sladkobe in posoda pomita. Tale recept je bil res preprost … in uspešen.

Recipe adapted from: My baking addiction

The Recipe

Ingredients (for 6 jars)

20 Oreo cookies
3 tablespoons butter, melted
250 g Nutella
250 ml cream (sweet)
350 g cream cheese Philadelphia
1 teaspoon vanilla
Cocoa for garnish

The process

1. In a medium bowl, stir together the Oreo cookie crumbs and melted butter. Evenly divide the crumbs between your individual serving dishes and press into the bottoms of the dishes to form a crust layer.

2. In a large bowl, with an electric mixer, beat the cream cheese and Nutella until smooth. Add vanilla and mix to combine. Using a rubber spatula, fold in the whipped topping until well blended and no streaks remain.

3. Evenly pipe or spoon the filling into individual serving dishes.

4. Whip the cream in the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the whisk attachment on medium speed until soft peaks form, 2 to 4 minutes. Evenly pipe whipped cream on top.

5. If desired, garnish with cacao.

6. You can refrigerate cheesecakes before serving.

Sestavine (za 6 kozarcev)

20 Oreo piškotov
3 žlice mehkega masla
250 g Nutelle
250 ml sladke smetane
350 g kremnega sira Philadelphia
1 žlička vanilijevega ekstrakta
Kakav za posip

Postopek

1. V multipraktiku zdrobite Oreo piškote (do drobtin) in dodajte zmehčano maslo. Drobtine vsujte v kozarce in jih pritisnite.

2. Z električnim mešalnikom stepite kremni namaz Philadelphia, vanilijo in Nutello, do kremnega.

3. Enakomerno nabrizgajte maso v kozarce.

4. Z električnim mešalnikom (ali na roko, če se vam da =) ) stepite smetano in jo prav tako nabrizgajte na vrh prejšnjih dveh slojev.

5. Po želji okrasite s kakavom.

6. Pred serviranjem jih lahko postavite v hladilnik, ni pa nujno.
