Healthier chocolate waffles / Cokoladni vaflji


I can’t wait any longer! Despite the fact that I still have no furniture, I made ​​a tower of speakers, so I can place  computer mouse on it. I have a chair, keyboard on my legs legs, the computer is on one of the two old little closets that are still in here. Uhhhh ... the most important thing is, that I can post a new recipe. I've been away too long .

Flat renovation has led to the silence on this blog, photos of recipes that should be published in November were just waiting and waiting. It will probably look funny but unfortunately I will have to post Fall recipes during Winter. Nothing new for me =).

I’ve spent New Year's Eve  with Truffle. It was just the two of us. We’ve spent New Year’s Eve together the fourth time but the first time we were alone. It’s how I wanted it.. Without partying, crowd, stress, hangover .. just stress - free evening. Where were you?

December was good. Lots of good food, heart to heart conversations, kind & friendly people. Many people can’t stand December. Too much pressure. Too many expectations. Not enough money for gifts. That seems so unnecessary to me. Why should December revolve around material things? It just pushes people to feel unworthy. I fight against all that bullshit. All I want in December is good food and smiling people. That's it. I prefer baking something sweet and give that to my friends & family.

2014. I don’t have any New Year's resolutions, because they don’t work. I have three goals for the year 2014. Well, maybe 4. That's where my focus is directed, that’s all I’m interested in.

For 2014, I wish you all to : L i s t e n    t o   y o u r    h e a r t. and ignore the rest.
Waffles ... waffles are such a divine treat. I found a healthier version, in which you use  almond flour instead of white one. Yes, it is worth to try it..

The recipe

Ingredients
Makes 5-6 waffles
350g almond flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tsp of vanilla powder or vanilla extract
pinch of salt
1 medium egg
150ml almond milk
1 tbsp maple syrup
100g dark chocolate, chopped, or chocolate chips
The process
Preheat waffle iron. Mix almond flour, baking soda, cocoa powder, vanilla powder (if using extract, mix with wet ingredients instead) and salt in a bowl. In another bowl, whisk together the egg, almond milk, maple syrup and vanilla extract if using. Mix with dry ingredients. Add chocolate and stir. Spoon batter into waffle iron and cook until ready. Serve with peanut butter, shredded coconut, extra chocolate if desired or maple syrup, jam, …


Ne morem več čakati! Kljub temu, da sem še vedno brez pohištva, sem iz zvočnikov  naredila stolp, da imam lahko miško na njih. Imam stol, tipkovnico na nogah, računalnik na eni od dveh starih omaric, ki sta še ostali. Ahhhh…glavno, da lahko objavim nov recept. Predolgo me ni bilo.

Prenova stanovanja je povzročila tišino na blogu, kopičenje fotografij receptov, ki bi jih morala objaviti že novembra. Mogoče bo izpadlo smešno ampak na žalost bom morala pozimi objaviti jesenske recepte. Nič novega pri meni =). 

Novoletni večer sem preživela v dvoje. S Tartufijem sva skupaj že četrtič preživela 31. december ampak letos prvič sama. Tako sem želela. Brez žuranja, gužve, stresa, mačka..samo stres-free večer. Kje ste bili vi? 

December je bil na splošno lep. Veliko dobre hrane, srčnih pogovorov, prijaznih ljudi. Veliko ljudi ne prenese decembra. Preveč pritiska. Preveč pričakovanj. Premalo denarja za darila. To se mi zdi tako nepotrebno. Zakaj se mora december vrteti okoli materialnih stvari? To samo poriva ljudi k občutku manjvrednosti.  Sama se upiram tem bedarijam. Vse kar hočem decembra je dobra hrana in nasmejani ljudje. To je to. Rajši spečem kaj sladkega in podarim prijateljem. 

2014. Novoletnih zaobljub nimam, ker ne delujejo. Imam pa tri cilje za leto 2014. No, mogoče 4. Tja je usmerjen moj fokus, ostalo me ne zanima. 

Za leto 2014 vam želim eno:  P o s l u  š a j t e    s v o j e    s r c e in ignorirajte ostalo.

Glede vafljev pa… vaflji so nekaj res tako božanskega. Poiskala sem bolj  zdravo verzijo, pri katerem se namesto bele moke uporabi mandljevo. Ja, splača se poskusiti.

Recept iz: amelia

Recept

Sestavine
Za  5-6 vafljev

350g mandljeve moke
1/2 žličke sode bikarbone
2 žlici kakava v prahu
1 čajna žlička vanilijevega sladkorja ali ekstrakta vanilije
ščepec soli
1 srednje jajce
150ml mandljevega mleka
1 žlica javorjevega sirupa
100g temne čokolade, sesekljane ali čokoladne solzice
Postopek
Segrejte pekač za vaflje.V skledi  zmešajte mandljevo moko, sodo bikarbono, kakav v prahu, vanilijev sladkor (če boste uporabili vanilijev ekstrakt, potem ga zmešajte z mokrimi sestavinami) in sol. V drugi skledi zmešajte skupaj jajce, mandljevo mleko, javorjev sirup in vanilijev ekstrakt, če ga boste uporabili. Zmešajte s suhimi sestavinami. Dodajte čokolado in zmešajte. Vlijte maso v pekač za vaflje in jih specite. Postrezite s kikirikijevim maslom, naribanim kokosom, dodatno čokolado ali javorjevim sirupom, marmelado, ...
